The Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) is the first of three certification levels offered by the FMI. The AFM exam tests a candidate’s technical modeling ability through building an integrated three statement model over the course of four hours. Participants who pass the exam will achieve the Advanced Financial Modeler credential.
In the 4-hour Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) online exam, candidates receive an Excel file containing a sample company and three years of historical financial statements.
Candidates will be required to build a 3 Statement Integrated financial model of a company.
AFM exam focuses on the skills required to design and build integrated financial models and provides participants with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their modeling proficiency.
